The phased journey picks up the pace from pre-primary to pre-vocational class. Students are prepared to take National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)’s Tests and also join a vocational course of their choice & Skills.

Drishtant Special School & Vocational Training started on the 17th of December 2022 with a small number of differently abled children but with a larger vision at Burari, Delhi. It is established and administered by the Society of the Nupal Healthcare Foundation. We at Drishtant, strive to act in early intervention phase in a special child's life to be able to create a strong foundation of effective learning, positive behavior, and good health.

Drishtant Special School focuses on individualized education, addressing specific needs of differently abled children.

The goal-based teaching approach enables teachers to work with students and their parents in developing a year-long program. Every stakeholder works hand in hand to achieve these goals and help us in fulfilling the objectives of getting them into the mainstream.

Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to get to know our school, with immense pride and great pleasure I welcome you, I am extremely proud of the work that we do to educate students with an intellectual disability. We have a professional and committed staff group who strive to create learning environments to suit each of our individual students’ needs. Programs are tailored to focus on student interests and strengths as well as addressing areas of concern.

I believe that children are precious and that schools are very special places. Here at Drishtant Special School, we provide specialist instruction for students with Autism and Complex Needs between the ages of 4 and 18 years. Drishtant Special School is a vibrant, warm and happy school where children are celebrated and cherished.

Our Curriculum is broad and balanced and we pride ourselves in providing best qualitative teaching and learning with a characteristic reflective type of practice that makes us strive for excellence. We focus on the development of Communication, Social and Independence skills, as well as, Literacy and Numeracy that are functional and age appropriate. We aim to provide our pupils with as many tools as possible to achieve independence and functionality in life.

I felt the need for this spark very strongly when I painfully witnessed the cold and insensitive ways in which a mentally challenged child was treated at a function. When I realized that I was also part of the indifferent lot, I didn't want to remain that way even for a day I started Drishtant special school I wanted to make these children needed and loved through our School.

Facilities

Transportation:

The school will be arranging two-way school van services for all the students. Pick-up and Drop will be performed under a trained driver and a supervisor.

Security:

We at Drishtant will take utmost care of your child, and thus for every two students 1 caregiver will be assigned. It becomes our responsibility to minimize any risk associated with the child while moving, running, playing, or traveling are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of your child by meeting all of your security needs as we give the highest quality service. You can put your faith in us to handle all of your security concerns. Drishant goes the extra mile by installing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) across the Centre and in every classroom which is made double-secured by provisions of Guards at every corner of the facility.

monitoring, assigning caretakers, and registration of cab drivers with us.
